Welcome to the less supervised side of Erinn Water Design.

I'm Erinn, and ordinarily this is the part where I'm supposed to explain what you'll find here. That would require me to know in advance, which seems unnecessarily restrictive.

There will definitely be stories about my designs, where the ideas came from, and how something that began as one perfectly reasonable thought somehow became an entire collection. I'll share things I'm working on, things I've discovered, things that inspire me, and probably a few things I bought simply because leaving them behind seemed wrong.

There will also be thoughts.

I have quite a few of those.

Occasionally one may turn into a useful article. Occasionally it may become a personal raving with more digressions than a garden maze and quite possibly no point at all. I make no promises except that I found it interesting enough to write down.

That is, after all, the nice thing about calling this place Unsupervised. I don't have to pretend everything belongs neatly in the same drawer.

So expect jewelry. Design. Art. Materials. Unexpected finds. Creative rabbit holes. Opinions I probably developed while doing something completely unrelated. And whatever else turns up along the way.

Some of it may eventually become something you can wear.

Some of it may become something I make.

Some of it may simply sit here looking pleased with itself.
